Yesterday was our annual sports day. We were blessed with wonderful weather and lots of enthusiastic supporters.
The day showed how everyone at Andreas reflects our core values - all competitors were caring, optimistic, respectful, friendly and understanding.
Everyone supported each other and we had some fantastic racing. Year 5 and 6 provided the commentary for each race and threw in the odd "eggs-cellent" joke during the egg and spoon race.
It was a close call for the winning house but in the end Yellow House were victorious.
Thank you to the teachers for organising and the other members of our community who came along to help. We were grateful that Mr Teare and Mrs Hunt from our governing body could join us and that our dinner ancillaries stayed to be place judges.
A great afternoon.
